"i'll try"

Why do people like to use the word try? it's so half-assed and feeble like you don't have it in you to commit to the promises you make to people "i'll try my best" "i'll try to come" "i'll try to stay" "i'll try to love you" why do you have to try when you can just be? "i'll do my best" "i'll come", "i'll stay" "i'll love you" and i don't want to "try" anymore,  i want to be able to say that i've lived with every fibre of my being, i want to be able to love with all that is left within me, i want to be filled with the intense, fiery passion of a thousand suns because i don't want to be afraid of failing, i want to fulfill, i want to dedicate more of myself to something than i have ever before


i feel like i've lost a part of myself ever since you left and i don't know how else to get it back
guess i can only try
