I feel like sometimes people don't realize that the entirety of our lives is founded on one huge assumption that this very privilege of living continues on tomorrow, and the day after, and the next and so on...
We sometimes take this very gift of being alive for granted, we while our time away fretting about the littlest of things that are so utterly insignificant in the cosmic schemes of the universe, we cloud ourselves in doubt and uncertainty over the hypothetical, over make-beliefs and figments of our imagination when we possess so much agency, so much ability to shape these moments, and to radically change the way our lives currently are.
I feel like we're not maximizing the potential of every single moment we possess simply because we assume it won't be our last.
We make all these grandiose plans for the future, time tables, schedules, because we assume we are going to live that much longer
but what if we don't?
